July 25th Day One

Today was our first day here at Camp Huntington. At first I was a little nervous about coming here, but after meeting everyone it made it much easier to enjoy myself here. Although I have been here once before for another class, I learned many things today about the historical aspects of the first great camp here in the Adirondacks.
As we toured the camp we got to see a lot of historical buildings that were created here. I enjoyed seeing all of the art work that was done using wood. I like how everything here is a site to see. It makes it much easier to want to be out here and enjoy the scenery. Also learning about the history of this place makes it interesting and eager to look around this camp. I thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride here, and touring around the camp and learning about new things that have gone on here in the past. I look forward to this weeks activities as well as learning more about the Adirondacks.
